(1)研究方向主要包括:材料辐照行为与机理研究;核能关键材料研制 (控制棒用中子吸收材料、乏燃料存储用中子吸收材料、涂层锆合金燃料包壳、钼铼合金/镍基合金等);原位电镜分析等。

(2)主持主要项目20余项,包括:国家自然科学基金7项 (国家杰青、2项联合基金重点、面上等)

、国家磁约束核聚变能发展研究专项课题、福建省工业引导性(重点)项目、国家科技重大专项“大型先进压水堆及高温气冷堆核电站”外协项目4项等。
